So, Today we we're given 3 hours to fix ourselves for the play. 

And all of us were in a lot of pressure, because some of us went to CCF already for the sound and lights system and some are arranging their costumes and props. 

All of us were too busy that we didn't really squished the time that was given to us, but yet we managed to finish.

So, What are we supposed to do now? Why don't we ALL start practicing our lines and put a 110% emotion through it. As all of you know, the play is like TOMORROW! (March 26) *bow*
We all know that we are not good actors or actresses but, let's try and do our best shall we?
Last week was so stressful that we all had to CRAM and WORK HARDER and FASTER just to lessen our duties but now, that we don't have much time to rehearse properly and make it better. Personally, we should rehearse at home or even in your sleep when you

wake up tomorrow morning.

It's the only way you could imagine how you are going to deliver your part when you are already standing on stage.
Always remember to STAY IN CHARACTER and GO FOR IT!


Nothing is impossible if you actually do it :) GO ON STAGE, ACT, SPEAK, LOOK AT THE AUDIENCE, ACT AGAIN, END IT!

This week is really the most TIRING week I've ever had in MIT International School, compared to United Nations. But, This week is the only week in which we could work on our play/costumes and rehearse!
And really people..
Come on, we can all take a deeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath when we are already on stage. HAHA :))
Last week and Last day tomorrow to get everything done!
We are working on our costume and there are a few left to finish and then go to set design. -.-

I've had a movie marathon myself...

So during this weekend I had a little movie marathon with myself... not coming out of my room that is.

Moulin Rouge

What do I honestly think about the movie called Moulin Rouge?

 I think it's a really good theatrical movie, not only that but it gives you the feeling of what it is trying to portray... LOVE, DESIRE, JEALOUSY and DEATH.

I have seen this movie like the 13th time already, but it never gets old for me because, i simply like it.
But somehow today it started getting a little bit boring for me but i would laugh at some parts.


Ms. Mae would tell us to watch, examine, and try to act like them. Like we would do the scenes that we have in the scenes that we saw in the movie. For example, where Satine dies and all, we have to act like we are totally dead no movements at all. And the part, where Satine exaggerates and all that when the writer was reciting his poem. And, where we would look at each other's eyes and pretend that we are in love. -.-

JUST WATCH MOULIN ROUGE and YOU'LL get what I am trying to tell you about how we're going to act it out. But, we won't really act like the people in the Moulin Rouge but just, exaggerate like how they would act and all.

Today, I'm going to tell you what we did in school....
In Math, we just talked about the last lesson that we had about the 30-30-60 and the 45-45-90 (?)I think.
We just had a discussion about it then we just solve some missing chart to fill in the blanks in the chart.
In Social Studies, we just sat and sort of "review" and then we just went downstairs to watch the Moulin Rouge. During English, we are able to go through our test in English about the "ELEGY WRITTEN IN THE CHURCHYARD" by Thomas Gray and then we continued the movie.
In Science, we continued the oral "epic" test that we did not continue last week because, we didn't have enough time and for some of us, just stayed outside the whole period.

And.... ALLAS! Soccer in  P.E. is finally over! woop! but... this means that the girls get to do something now... yeah, yeah....

anyways, I just had a movie review and a brief sharing about what we did in school today.. so BYE!

Let's all cram...MAGICAL

Honestly, I don't know what to do anymore. The other day I was just so "relax" that the exam days are like 5 days ahead or so, but then now I feel the pressure. I mean I haven't started my math port folio yet and i didn't even review any till now. And tomorrow we have an oral defense -.- like seriously? O.o

I also don't know how to explain what I was feeling today...
In the morning, I was all hyper and I was really happy and relax.
Then, first period we had no lesson so, we just watched a movie called ENCHANTED.

It was good. But I watched it like the 20th time already... because, I would remember how my two sisters love watching this movie. When they both wake up in the morning they would go inside my room or open the tv set and the dvd player and watch this all day or they would watch the old enchanted which is called ELLA ENCHANTED. 

Because, they love fairytale movies a lot even I do sometimes.
I am more on watching dance movies or comedy. You would barely see me watch movies that is action unless it's Van Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise and other action stars who are really awesome! :)

CONNECTED! at last...

Can you believe it?~ I know I couldn't.

I am finally connected to my character!! But honestly, I don't know how I would act it out with a partner.
I mean, I did it! I actually did it! but without a partner though. It's like I have finally got my way in, to act the character! Which is like a relief. But then, I now have to think of a way to connect my emotions, feelings and my movements with a partner.

Like, you have no idea how I try to act all the lines and BE THE character.
Then, I have to act more comfortable if I wanna show my adviser of what I have rehearsed and practiced for this weekend.

Because, I wanted to connect with my character in the play. To make the play good and put emotions in it and not likely, being stiff or just standing there like you don't know what to do next.

So, what I clearly suggests the casts of the play that we are acting is BE THE character and trust me, you'll find it FUN to act like it, once you get to read the lines and act it out all over again.
